Frequently Asked Questions

Attending a class poses some questions, but with a few preparations, you'll be well on your way.

  • Do I need any experience to join a class?

No — absolutely not. All levels are welcome, including complete beginners. Postures are always adapted to suit individual ability, so you can move at a pace that feels right for you.

  • I’m not flexible — can I still do Yoga?

Yes. You do not need to be flexible to practise Yoga. Flexibility develops over time, but Yoga is really about breath, awareness, and connection — not how far you can stretch.

  • What’s the difference between group classes and one-to-one sessions?

Group classes offer a shared, supportive practice with general guidance for all.
One-to-one private sessions are fully personalised and tailored specifically to your body, goals, and needs. They are ideal for beginners, injury recovery, stress support, or deepening your practice.

  • Are your classes suitable for older adults?

Yes. Many students come to Yoga later in life. All movements are adapted and options such as chair support are always available where needed.

  • What should I bring to class?

    For studio classes, please bring:
    - Comfortable clothing you can move in
    - A water bottle
    - A Yoga mat (if you have one — studio mats may be available)
For online classes, simply make sure you have enough space to move comfortably and a stable internet connection.

  • How do online classes work?

Once you book an online class, you will receive your Zoom login details by email. Simply log in a few minutes before the class begins and you’re ready to practise.

  • What if I have an injury or health condition?

Please let me know before your class or book a one-to-one session for personalised guidance. All practices can be adapted, and your safety and comfort always come first.

  • How often should I practise Yoga?

Even once or twice a week can bring benefits. Regular practice helps build strength, mobility, mental clarity, and emotional balance.

  • What style of Yoga do you teach?

Classes are based on traditional Yoga, blending postures, breathing techniques, and meditation. Practices range from gentle and restorative to deeper traditional work depending on the class and student level.

  • Do I need to book in advance?

Yes. Booking is required for all classes and private sessions, as spaces are limited.
