About Our Classes

Relax. Restore. Deepen Your Practice

Traditional Hatha Yoga
(Sivananda-Based)

A classic and balanced Yoga practice based on the Sivananda series, combining traditional postures (asana), breathing exercises (pranayama), and guided relaxation. This class is both meditative and energising, cultivating positive energy throughout the body while developing strength, flexibility, and inner focus.

Practices move steadily and mindfully, with time taken to settle into postures and build awareness through breath and stillness. This creates a deeply grounding and centring experience.

Beginner Level
The beginner class offers clear, detailed instruction, helping you build strong foundations in posture, breathing, and relaxation. This level is ideal if you are new to Yoga or returning after a break.

Intermediate Level
The intermediate class follows the full Sivananda series, with variations offered according to each student’s ability. This level supports the development of strength, stamina, focus, and deeper awareness.

Advanced Variations
For experienced practitioners, advanced postures and refinements are offered where appropriate, allowing for continued growth and exploration within a safe, supported structure.

“Ted’s classes are a real medicine for body and mind. I started practicing with Ted in 2019 after many years of doing traditional hot yoga /Bikram style classes. I was drawn to a yoga class that was still strong but didn’t create such intense heat in the body. The classes are quite magical and I always leave full of positive energy and just feeling so much better”

I am at an age where my mobility is now reduced and movement can be painful but the gentle functional movement strengthens my muscles and reduces pain. The 90 minutes of personal time turned inwards also helps put the world in perspective”
